Many of our technologies are able to use bio-derived raw materials, which are in principle renewable. These include:
Natural Detergent Alcohols – Fatty alcohols from natural oils – palm or coconut oil converted to C10-C18 NDAs with virtually no effluents (high recycle rates of by-products)
Ethyl Acetate – Bio-ethanol converted to Ethyl Acetate (Hydrogen by-product)
Propylene glycol – Converts glycerine by-product from Bio-diesel production to propylene glycol
Bio-diesel from waste oils - Converts fatty acids derived from waste cooking oils and non-edible animal fats (feed stocks that do not compete with food production) to bio-diesel
