There are many stages in the development cycle from technology creation to commercialisation in an industrial scale operating plant. Whilst this cycle is driven by market need, progress requires a range of essential skills to bring development projects to successful conclusions. At Davy Process Technology we have the patenting, research, development, design and technology transfer skills to meet these needs.
Over 80% of our technology staff are first or higher degree scientific and engineering professionals. They know what it takes to:

- provide effective technology transfer

Ultimately, we need clients to licence our process technologies and that is when we produce Basic Engineering Packages (BEPs). These translate our proprietary technology into a form that can be used by the client's appointed engineering contractor to undertake detailed design, engineering, procurement and construction. Our BEPs ensure that capital projects achieve the technology performance potential that is implicit in our licensing contracts.
