Chemical Engineering
DPT employs approximately 100 engineers in its London office. Of these, around half are professional chemical engineers working in the Process Department.
The majority of our Process Engineers have experience in:
- Physical property data collection and verification
- Process simulation and flowsheet development
- Process engineering design
- Unit operation selection
- Instrumentation and control strategy development
- Plant operation, safety and hazard analysis
- Plant hydraulics and piping design
- Plant commissioning and operation
- Laboratory, pilot plant and commercial plant data collection and analysis.
DPT maintains close contacts with many leading Universities and independent consultants. In addition, DPT retains several consultants on a continuous basis for specific process and catalyst developments. Others are consulted as necessary on specific chemistry or engineering problems.
