Flowsheeting and Process Simulation
DPT has considerable experience and expertise in developing flowsheets. Optimum flowsheet configurations can be quickly developed using 'state-of-the-art' process simulation software. Where necessary DPT employs dynamic simulation and heat exchanger 'pinch' techniques.
The broad practical experience that exists within the company, obtained by commissioning the plants we design, ensures that operability, safety and maintenance considerations are included from the early stages of design.
DPT has proven experience of anticipating potential problems that can occur in commercialising new processes. This enables the development of a robust economical design by the careful selection of the basic flowsheet, design margins and unit operations, such that significant operating flexibility is provided.
